On January 22, 2008 a dinner table discussion was held at Horizon Science Academy for special guest, Ronald Adler. Mr. Adler is from The Ohio Coalition for Quality Education, whose mission is to advocate for community school such as Horizon Science Academy to legislature, Department of Education and State Board of Education members. Mr. Adler was able to spend the afternoon, talking with administration and parent representatives from both the high school and the middle school regarding the future of Horizon Science Academy. Parents were able to discuss what programs they felt were successful as well as make suggestions for changes and improvements. Mr. Adler presented Horizon with a banner to honor our academic achievement.
